We pay tribute to those big band gems that defined this golden era like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman and more with arguably the best swingsters in the country, popular Australian Idol star Carl Riseley and Jacki Cooper, backed by the hot sounds of John Morrison’s Swing City Big Band.  | Gates open at 6pm, parking is free at the zoo. Entry and exit is through the Zoo's Main Gate. Food and beverages will be available to purchase at the concert or bring your own picnic. The shows proceed in inclement weather - so come prepared. The concert will only be cancelled if conditions at the time of the concert become extreme.
