A new Australian production of Jekyll And Hyde is in the works, with the show to premiere overseas in Korea before visiting several other countries ahead of an Australian tour. Auditions are being held later this month, and the show will be in Australia either late this year or early next year. The Jekyll and Hyde debut in Korea is likely to be in late August. Jekyll and Hyde is being produced by TML Enterprises, who were responsible for the hit production of Fiddler On The Roof and the most recent touring production of, Shout!, which starred Tim Campbell. Venues for the Jeykll and hide Australian tour are unknown, though a Capitol Theatre opening in Sydney would not be surprising.

Jekyll And Hyde is based on the novel The Strange Case Of Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde and first opened on Broadway in 1997. Jekyll and Hyde has a patchy history in Australia. A production was announced about a decade ago, and a CD recording was even released as a marketing tool, but it never reached the stage. The promotional recording featured Simon Burke as Jekyll/Hyde, Delia Hannah as Lucy and Terri Crouch as Emma.
